Kevin Jackson

Salado School Alumni Association’s
2008 Scholarship Recipient

Kevin is the SHS Salutatorian for 2008, with a GPA of 4.0. He is the son of Randy Jackson, SHS class of 1980 and Saundra Naiver Jackson, SHS class of 1981.

Kevin’s grandparents are also Salado alumni--K.W. Jackson, Pat Wolfe, and Franklyn Naiver.

Kevin plans to go to Texas A&M University and major in business.

Kevin is one of Salado’s star pitchers. In the 2008 semi-final game against the Grape Creek Eagles, he pitched a no-hitter--the first no-hitter pitched at the state playoffs by any team, any class (1A-5A) since 1995! In the finals, Kevin and his teammates led Salado to its first ever State Championship in baseball against the Corsicana Mildred Eagles.
